Optional AI extraction: If the user enables AI extraction and provides an OpenAI Platform API key, the app sends receipt images and recognized OCR text from new receipts to OpenAI, LLC through the OpenAI Platform to detect receipt line items. This data may include merchant names, dates, totals, VAT, purchased items, and any personal data visible on the receipt. AI extraction is optional, disabled by default, and requires explicit user consent before any data is sent.
